Hi-ya!

2morrow at school we are having some pride rally?IDK. There is no pride to show in that school.....anyways, I'm really bored and I want it to be my birthday idk why..... Math is so hard! I liked Mrs. dresler teaching math better cause, she goes over the answers and if we need help she does the question on the board. They switched my classes? My school

I really dont like my new school. Everyone is so preppy! (I am too but, not as preppy as they are) The only class I like is gym. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY WANNA GO TO BROOKLYN JUNIOR! But my parents wont let me! I cried a river. I'm not kidding. I want to get transffered and be with Watchen, Sandra, Easter, Deja..... :^ C I have no friends. Besides some of Watchens that used to go to her old school. BUT ANYWAYS.....I HATE IT.

Baby

My mom had her baby! It's a boy!ugh. His name is Levi Timothy. He is sooooooooooooooooo fat.He is 2 weeks old. Today he wouldn't stay in his car seat so i took him out, and he slept in my lap the whole way home while I ate sixlets. BTW they are all gone :( I heard this song on the radio and it's called One time By Justin Bieber. I like it. Alot. And how do u sleep by Jesse Mccartney <3

Last day.

I'm Glad I came to Birch Grove. Everyone was very nice and I made alloootttttttt of new friends. I will miss everyone............ soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! The Kids Business Book

1. The kids set up the business because, They wanted to earn money for what they do.
2. The kids set up particular businesses because, they chose the thing they would like to do and, they earned money off of doing it.
3.  You need to list things that you like and dislike. You need to find  a place where you could make a profit.
4. Risks that they faced were people not coming to buy there product or not coming to their store.
5. You need a place to start your business. Then if your running a big business you might need your parents or a friend to help.
6. A profit is a certain amount of money you get when you are working.
7. They might run out of business or have to shut their business down.

Minnesota Orchestra

1. This site might be interesting to kids. It is very informal and detailed.
2. I like this site because it gives off alot of information. The site has when the Orchestra started playing and how many people are in the orchestra.
   
3. I do not like that there is no interacting pictures of the orchestra.
4. The site did motivate to want to go the field trip. It did because, I've never been to the minnesota orchestra and I'd like to go.

Think and respond

1. That winning isn't everything and she could figure out to win things on her own
2. In the end and beginning of the story Mari felt like she needed to find a way to make her project look realistic and special.
3. You need to be dependent on other people because maybe something bad might happen or you need advice for something. You could be in a bad situation like Mari and need to be dependent of other people.
4. Teachers should judge students projects on how creative and how much they thought out the project. I know this because, most students who get good grades use their creativity and thoughts.
5. I flipped through the book before I read it. I looked at he problem Mari had and guessed what was going to happen. I did this because I like to know what happens before it begins.

Picturing America

I think they tried to teach american history like this because it seems more interesting to show pictures of american history than rather reading it in a book or encyclopedia(ECT...).

From these pictures you can learn how they dressed and what things looked like then. The cities and homes look different than now. The homes and cities looked more older and less small than now. The people wore wigs and long cloaks then also.  

I think the pictures were selected to show that things in american history were more older and historical than now. People then were American Heros too so, they could've picked those pictures for American Heros.

The pictures that I like are Falling water, and View from mount Holyoke, Northampton, Massachusetts, after thunderstorm. I like these pictures because they are about nature and they are beautiful.

Painting with a hammer

I think that this video painting with a hammer was named this because, The man in the video was making art with the silver. He was using  tools like hammers to make art. That is why I think this video is called painting with a hammer.

Lebanon Silver Mine

In stop 2, ("The Lunch Room") The miners used a double jack sledge hammer. They would see by having candles in the mine with them. At stop 5,("The Changing Room")  Miners would change there wet mining clothes for new dry clothes after they were done with their work. There was a fireplace in that room so they could dry their clothes. In stop 7, (" The Tool Shed") I recognize the hammer at the bottom. They could've used that for mining silver and other minerals. In stop 12,("Powering The Mill") The mill had been powered by water and the creek near by.

Silver of the 18th, 19th, and 20th Century

These pictures look the same in lots of ways. They both look like they are used for some sort of drinking set. They all are made from silver and are in tea form. They all look like they were used a long time ago like, in the 1800's. The silver drinking sets

Twilight was about a Girl named Bella who fell in love with a vampire. Bella moves to Washington for the summer and is not liking it. She goes there to live with her dad. The first day of school there, she sits by an unusual boy that sits on the edge of the seat. His eyes were always black and he was very pale. As Bella gets to know him, she falls in love with him also. She then figures out that Edward is a vampire. A boy named Jacob tells her the story of the vampires and wolves. One day as Bella was with Edward and his family, 3 vampires come to see what they had been doing. The Patterns I see on this picture is in their clothes. The next pattern in the feathers. They repeat in all of the Native Americans clothing. The last pattern is The feathers in their hair.

Migrant Mother, 1936

The picture on Migrant Mother looks likes she is thinking about what's going to happen in the future. She looks worried about her children and what's going to happen to them. The Migrant Mother is living during the great depression.

19th-20th Century

I like the Bright Blue striped quilt. It looks like it took awhile to make. I think that it looks very ineresting and Beautiful!

1. Three deatails that this picture (statue) is that He is wearing a hat that people wore in the 1800's. He is wearing a long cloak that people wore in the 1800's also. Lastly is that, Benjamin franklin is not living anymore. He is a American hero.

My Side Of The Mountain Chapter 22

1. A photographer cam and all of a sudden took a picture of sam. It had made his heart heavy, and also that frightful was on his shoulder.
2. Sam talked to reporters and photographers for the next four days
3. Days later, Sam's father came. Sam heard voices and then he hesitated before meeting his dad.
4. Sam had found out that his dad brought the whole family to visit.
5. Sam's mother had said, "Well if he doesn't want to come home, then we will bring home to him."
6. Sam's father brought lumber to build a  house. His family was going to live with him.
7. His mother said that they are not leaving him until he's eighteen.
